TILE & STONE AT THE DOME

FFTSE Press Release

Full Frontal Tile & Stone Expo (FFTSE) will be held at the Dome, the architectural jewel in the crown of the Sydney Showground, from 17-19 April 2008.

As Australia's first dedicated tile and stone exhibition, this is a must-attend event for all architects, interior designers, property developers, builders, homeowners, renovators, importers, distributors and retailers of tile and stone products, plus tile fixers and stonemasons - anyone interested in latest trends, radical new products and cutting-edge technologies.

FFTSE will feature special displays, including interactive tiles that change colour and ‘shape’ when exposed to water, heat or pressure, dynamic applications of natural stone, exquisite glass mosaic, and the revolutionary 3 mm Kerlite porcelain tile that is not only extremely flexible but bullet proof!

Visitors can experience a proprietary product demonstration area, and an installation showcase where multi-award winning Australian architect Stephen Varady will design a stunning tile and stone display across 120 square metres of floor and wall space.

A huge drawcard will be the series of architectural, sustainability and tile and stone seminars held in two 150-seat theatrettes within the Dome. The seminars will be co-hosted with Australia's leading independent journal of architecture, Architectural Review, and conducted by key industry experts, including members of Good Environmental Choice Australia (GECA).

GECA is the supplier of Australia’s only environmental labelling program, which indicates the environmental performance of a product from a whole-life perspective for consumer goods. It has entered into a memorandum of understanding with the Australian Stone Advisory Association (ASAA).

On top of this, FFTSE will unveil some inspiring and innovative residential and commercial tiling projects, which will be in the running for some amazing prizes. A radical buyer’s guide will be an invaluable resource for every visitor and exhibitor, while a new ‘product link’ will connect exhibitors and visitors post show.

After two full days of trade-only attendance, FFTSE will be open to the general public on the Saturday. Visitors must be aged 15 years or over.

FFTSE is much more than a trade show, it is a must-attend extravaganza showcasing the beauty and versatility of tile and stone.

Don’t miss the opportunity to take part!
