COMMERCIAL TILING AWARDS
The Full Frontal Tile & Stone Expo (FFTSE) Commercial Tiling Awards will be displayed on large concept boards that will be placed on the mezzanine level of the Dome, which directly overlooks the expo floor at the Sydney Showgrounds. Each board will feature actual tile samples, images of the project and a textual description.
AWARD ENTRY CRITERIA
We invite entries from tile manufacturers, retailers, architects or tile fixers. However, the architect must be nominated. Only commercial projects featuring tile, stone or a combination of both are eligible. Entries must be accompanied by the following information indicating the name of:
- Manufacturer/quarry
- Tile/stone supplier
- Material description including name and nominal sizes
- Tile fixer/stonemason
- Architect
- Builder/main contractor
- Location
Image quality:
Images must be supplied at 300+ dpi resolution at 100 per cent scale. Colour must be CYMK.
CATEGORIES AND JUDGES
- Best Commercial Interior - Ceramic Tile
- Best Commercial Exterior - Ceramic Tile
- Best Commercial Interior - Natural Stone
- Best Commercial Exterior - Natural Stone
- Best Commercial Project Combining Tile and Stone
A winner will be selected in each category. The entry that is deemed to be the best by our panel of judges formed by architects and members of the Australian Tile Council (ATC) and the Australian Stone Advisory Association (ASAA), will win the Premier award.
AWARDS
Category winners will each receive a special award. The FFTSE Premier Award-winning architect will win a trip to Italy to visit Cersaie in Bologna and Marmomacc in Verona, the world’s number one tile and stone shows respectively. The prize will include flight and accommodation and other special features, which will be announced in due course.
There is no charge for entry. Photographers are available in all states.
