Australia's first dedicated tile and stone expo made a promising debut, by attracting a reasonable audience of qualified potential purchasers and specifiers of tile and stone.

With support from the Australian Tile Council and the Australian Stone Advisory Association, plans are already being formulated for 2009. Director Anthony Stock said, "Attendance at the Full Frontal Tile & Stone Expo compares very favourably with the inaugural Tile & Stone Show which was held in the United Kingdom in 2007. We are optimistic about the potential of the event and we are in the process of adding new elements. We obviously need to attract more specifiers but the overall quality of the event and related seminars bodes well for the future."

A low resolution audio/visual review of the event will appear on the web site in due course. Images of the Full Frontal Tile & Stone Expo (FFTSE) feature soon. The Tile Today review featuring comments from a number of exhibitors will appear here on Monday, June 2.
