Bob Beaumont
Bob Beaumont is the Managing Director of Beaumont Tiles, which with 77 retail branches throughout Australia, is the largest company of its type. He joined the company in 1968 as a driver/storeman/sample boy, shortly after it was founded by Mr Raymond Beaumont (Bob’s father), in a shed behind his home. The company grew rapidly, moving from the shed to a small cottage store, and in 1974 to larger premises at 200 Grote Street, Adelaide. After working in all areas of the company and completing various management and motivational courses, Bob became General Manager and then, during the 1980s, Managing Director.
