A'nge Kokkalaris, Aqua Mix Pretty good turnout. Our practical demos
encouraged tilers to talk to us and we met many
of our existing clients and a number of prospective
clients.
Craig Andrews, Ardex Australia An excellent first show with good potential for
the future. If the show grows over the years it
could be a great asset to the industry.
Garreth Cruikshank, Belmondo Tiles Good fit for us; small and starting up; organisation
excellent. Response - we can do enough business
to make this worthwhile. We will generate enough
sales to pay for it and then some.
James Woodyatt, CDK Stone Australia The attendance was moderate but the quality was
excellent and from a perspective of promoting our
machinery and a number of new products, FFTSE
was considerably better than any other event and
we will definitely do it again.
Mark Schofield, Eureka Tiles Australia Like a number of other exhibitors we would
have liked to see greater numbers of visitors,
but with the exception of a lack of architects
the quality was good. We met a lot of our prime
clients and made a number of useful contacts.
Overall we are very happy with the first FFTSE.
The organisation was excellent and we will
support it again.
John Zeng, Everstone For a first edition you have all done a great job,
we will be pleased to take part again.
Tina Di Lorenzo, Florim/Di Lorenzo We met a number of interior designers and
have already arranged appointments. It was
also good from a trade and public perspective,
unfortunately there were not enough architects in
attendance.
Robert Frazer, Innvotech Solutions Despite first appearances and the positive initial
tests we conducted, the Dome floor was tricky in
places, but that provided a test for TracLoc and
ultimately we succeeded in supplying product for
almost 20 stands and major exhibits. We met tile
retailers from every state and succeeded in selling
product from the stand. We also managed to
reach agreement with Ardex, who have become
national distributors of TracLoc. The quality of
visitors and leads received was very high.
Alan McAllister, Iris Ceramica Participation in FFTSE has been a useful exercise
and we believe that we will benefit in the long
run, but we need to follow up on the leads we
received and translate these into positive gains.
Naomi Abood, RAK Ceramics NSW We enjoyed a very strong response especially in
regard to our new products, which will definitely
generate business. Lots of new leads including
architects and particularly interior designers.
Overall we are happy with the first event and
we believe it has great potential, but perhaps
it should be held every second year to create a
hunger for the event.
Paula Yench, Renaissance Tiles A great success; fabulous show. I now have
many more leads and more potential buyers
are aware of our product. It was an expensive
exercise, but very worthwhile and important for
industry.
Sandy Hercus, Southern Cross Ceramics Very pleased to see almost all our major
customers. A good event from a trade perspective, but it needs more architects.
Matthew Voller, Stoneworld We wanted to see retail and we certainly
achieved our goal.
Renata Gilio, Trend Tile We did receive quality leads and it is important
to be present at these events. FFTSE was very
well organised. However, we expected a bigger
pavilion, but you have to consider the size of the
tile industry. I think it is important that related
products are added to the mix to attract more
visitors. Promoting the show in the Sunday paper
was fantastic and our stores are still getting leads.
In fact, the leads started even before the show
did! We will certainly participate again.
Alan Huang, Vigorboom We made a lot of contacts. We feel that as a
new company it was very beneficial to us.
